This is a question many people ask. Whether getting a tattoo hurts can't really be answered with a yes or no. The pain experienced during tattooing is different for everyone. How much tattooing hurts depends on several factors. For example, the location of the tattoo plays a significant role. Getting a tattoo on a thin piece of skin close to the bone will hurt the most. Generally, people don't find getting a tattoo very painful. It can be described as an unpleasant scratchy sensation.

What is the waiting time?
The answer is no. A new tattoo needs to heal. During this healing process, you may experience some itching at the site of your tattoo. When your skin itches, it's a sign that your body is busy with this process! Nothing to worry about. However, try not to scratch the tattoo when it itches. This can disrupt the healing process and, in some cases, even cause an infection.
Normally, there is a waiting period, though this does vary from time to time. The waiting time depends on the situation, the necessary preparation, and the availability of your and my schedules. Therefore, it's impossible to give an exact waiting time. Of course, the current coronavirus situation also plays a role in not only waiting times and measures, but also the opening hours of tattoo shops. Can I cancel or reschedule my appointment?
Yes, that is possible, as long as this is done at least 24 hours in advance.
How much does it cost to get a tattoo?

How should I care for my tattoo?
Aftercare for your tattoo is very important once it's newly applied. For the first few weeks, it's important to apply plenty of moisturizer. You can use unscented products like Vaseline or Bepanthen. There are many different recommendations and opinions regarding tattoo aftercare. The most important thing is to keep your tattoo clean and give it time to heal. To guarantee the high quality of our work and to comply with the strict hygiene guidelines of the Municipal Health Service (GGD), we work by appointment only. Getting a tattoo is a lifelong commitment and can carry certain risks. Therefore, it's important that you carefully consider the matter and make a well-informed decision before scheduling an appointment with us.
We offer tattooing services for those aged 16 and over. Before getting a tattoo, we ask you to complete a consent form. Please be aware that we may ask for ID.
When making an appointment, a deposit of between €25 and €100 is required. If you are unable to attend, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance. If you do not arrive on time,
If you cancel, the deposit will be retained as a cost for the reservation.

Tattoo appointments can ONLY be made by phone or email. Price estimates cannot be provided by phone or email. If you visit us by appointment, you can discuss your tattoo wishes with us. We will then provide personalized advice and, if possible, a price estimate.
