Since 2007, a permit has been required for tattoo artists and piercers. Inspections are carried out by the Municipal Health Service (GGD). Only those who adhere to strict hygiene regulations will receive a permit from the GGD. The government recommends only having tattoos or piercings done at certified businesses. Naturally, Flaneur's Tattoo Studio has this required permit.

BRIEF HISTORY OF TATTOO

 

Tattooing has become truly popular in recent years. It's becoming increasingly accepted. There are countless tattoo programs on various TV channels these days. But the practice of tattooing is very old and not a modern phenomenon. It's believed that tattooing is one of the first forms of art that humans began to practice.

 

The English word “tattoo” comes from the Tahitian word “Tatu” which means marks or

Stripes means. In September 1991, the ice mummy Ötzi was found in the Alps. This mummy was over 5,300 years old and had 59 tattoos. Many tattoos have also been found on ancient Egyptian and Germanic mummies. The art of tattooing was practiced in various countries and continents, such as Africa, Japan, New Zealand, Borneo, India, New Guinea, and Ethiopia. North and South America originally had their own style, a tattoo style that suited each country.
